Case Study 3 - Technical Assistance to a Major Speech Technology Provider
Having recently acquired the assets of an international speech technology company, the client's Vice President, International, who had previously worked with senior Tangent Telecom members of staff, asked Tangent Telecom to assist with the technical aspects of the re-establishment of their core product within the UK and Irish market. Over a period of seven months the project, multiply extended, successfully embedded the product within the target area for the majority of customers, creating one of the leading speech solutions products available today.

Tangent Telecoms flexibility of approach, high level of speech and language expertise, commercial knowledge, understanding of the UK and Irish speech and contact market places and ability to solve issues led to an excellent return for the client. Many of the end customers were faced with problems related to upgrading to the latest software release, which necessitated on-site visits by Tangent Telecom technical personnel. Invariably, issues were solved and the end customer left feeling both well supported and inclined to do business with the client again, much to both the client's and customer's satisfaction.

The principle product was already reasonably well established in the UK market - Tangent Telecom ensured that this remained the case during a period of profound change for the company and industry as a whole.
